Updates to Puma Enzo Netfit Mid

  • Building upon the brand’s acclaimed Enzo model, the Puma Enzo Netfit aims to deliver the best of the original shoe while introducing a few upgrades. This daily workout trainer is meant as a budget-friendly option for those at the entry-level of a training regimen.
  • The shoe keeps the clamshell design of the collar used in the Puma Enzo. It allows the wearer to easily slide the footwear on and off.
  • The most notable update is the Netfit lacing technology. It comprises of the honeycomb-patterned midfoot panels connected by unconventionally threaded laces. They can be run through any of the apertures in the panels for a customized fit.

Puma Enzo Netfit Mid size and fit

The Puma Enzo Netfit is a man’s shoe that caters to regular foot width and length measurements. It comes in a range of US sizes from 7 to 13. Widthwise, it is available in a D - Medium width profile. The knit mesh material is meant to wrap the foot in a snug, sock-like manner. The rearfoot is kept steady with the help of a wide gore strap. The Netfit lacing system locks down the midfoot and can be adjusted at preference.

Outsole

The outsole of the Puma Enzo Netfit replicates the bottom of the original Enzo. It is made of hard-wearing and slip-resistant rubber for durability and traction. The heel and the front sections are reinforced with carbon rubber pods for enhanced grip and protection. This kind of rubber that is similar to the one used in car tires.

The outsole has a zoned design, featuring a combination of vertical and horizontal flex grooves. This construction allows the platform to bend in multiple directions, accommodating a variety of movements.

Midsole

A full-length EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) midsole is utilized for cushioning. This foam material is moulded to the shape of the foot for comfortable and long-lasting support. The Enzo Netfit also employs a soft-foam footbed to maximize the cushy underfoot comfort.

Upper

The Puma Enzo Netfit has a low-cut upper with a clamshell-like opening. This style kills two birds with one stone by offering an easy slip on-and-off as well as unhindered ankle mobility once the foot is inside. The trainer is also available in a higher, mid-cut upper option .

A one-piece knit material wraps the foot in a supportive, sock-like manner. On the inner side, a soft mesh lining contributes to the cozy experience. The padded collar and the extended tongue hug the ankle to keep the shoe securely on the wearer. A supportive wide gore strap is added around the rearfoot for a lockdown fit.

The lateral support is rendered by the Netfit lacing technology on the midfoot. It consists of a lacing system which connects two synthetic side panels on the instep. These panels have multiple hexagonal apertures of various sizes. The wearer can customize the way in which the laces run through these apertures to achieve the optimal fit.
