Updates to Puma Cell Regulate Woven

  • According to Puma, this road running shoe is meant to provide runners with a well-performing road companion with a retro design. It utilizes the classic running silhouette design with the breathable woven upper. The upper also aims to provide a comfortable fit.
  • Another element of the shoe is the TPU shank which aims to deliver added support from the heel to the midfoot.
  • Puma integrated the EVA heel pod into the Cell Regulate Woven. The focus of which is to provide excellent cushioning for a comfortable feel and better shock absorption.

Puma Cell Regulate Woven size and fit

Based on Puma's site, the Cell Regulate Woven is crafted to be true to size. It comes with the standard running shoe measurements. Since some users have issues with its sizing, it is recommended to try the shoe first before buying to ensure the correct fit that is suitable for the user.

Like the Nike Revolution 4, the available width profiles are Medium D for the men's version and Medium B for the women's.

Outsole

Integrated into the Puma Cell Regulate Woven is the rubber outsole. This component of the shoe is essential in providing an extraordinary amount of grip on different paved surfaces. It also offers durability to high-wear areas.

Midsole

This running shoe utilizes a shank that is described to be supportive. This TPU shank lies in the midfoot section, which helps overpronators to prevent the excessive inward rolling of the foot. This lightweight but firm material is vital in providing midfoot motion control and support.

Improved shock absorption is encouraged by the EVA heel pod. The primary focus of which is to provide excellent cushioning as well. As a result, a more efficient and comfortable running experience is enjoyed by the user.

Upper

The woven textile material is integrated into the upper of the Cell Regulate Woven. It provides the foot a breathable coverage. It conforms to the shape of the foot for a more relaxed fit. Along with the woven textile upper is the overlay details which provide added support and structural integrity.

The dynamic lacing system offers impressive foot lockdown. It secures the foot throughout the run.

For added support and lockdown, a midfoot strap with a Puma brand name is also used.

Located on the tongue tab is the PUMA Cat Logo. This feature adds to the attractive design of the shoe. Along with it is the heel pull tab. This component of the footwear allows the easy entry and removal of the shoe.
