Puma by Rihanna Creeper Cracked Leather Style

The Creeper has done it again and this time in a shiny cracked leather iteration officially named as the Puma by Rihanna Creeper Cracked Leather low-top sneaker. The chunky sole trend continues in this new version of the Creeper, with the original features retained except the eye-catching twist on the upper material. The platform sole alone makes a statement, but the addition of the shiny leather makes it even more deserving of attention and compliments. Wear it with shorts, jeans, leggings, or dresses, day or night, and you're good to go.

Notable Features

The Puma by Rihanna Creeper Cracked Leather is another platform low-top sneaker from the Puma Fenty by Rihanna collection. Like the original Creeper, one could easily spot it from the crowd as the platform sole does not only add a bit of height to the wearer but also a stylish vibe and a fashion statement. However, what makes this version a stand out is its shiny cracked leather upper. Hence, the Cracked Leather” variation name.

Puma by Rihanna Creeper Cracked Leather History

The collaboration between Puma and music icon Rihanna started in December 2014. Rihanna was first appointed as the brand’s global ambassador for Women’s training and eventually as the Creative Director for Puma Women’s. Given the position, she is involved not only in product collections but also in designing and creating new styles for the brand through the Fenty Puma by Rihanna line.

Rihanna’s first shoe for the brand is the Puma Fenty Creeper. It was such a highly anticipated release for sneaker enthusiasts and Rihanna fanatics that its September 2015 launch sold out immediately after only three hours. It was, and still is, in fact, a favorite sneaker choice among celebrities on and off cam. It also bagged the Shoe of the Year award in 2016.

Fast forward to April 2017. Puma released a version of the Creeper that uses shiny cracked, textured leather on the upper for an added fashion statement. Officially called as the Puma by Rihanna Creeper Cracked Leather, this version initially released in two colorways featuring a platform sole, Formstrips on the side, and Puma Fenty brandings. It also comes with an impressive Fenty box and a shoe bag.
