Fit & Sizing

The Puma Basket Heart Coach is a basketball-inspired women's shoe with sizes available from US 5.5 to 11 in B Medium or Standard width. Like other Puma shoes, it also offers half sizes. Because it is constructed with a low-top profile, one can expect a flexible foot movement, especially around the ankle. The fit can either be tightened or loosened with this shoe's lace-up closure that comes with wide satin or ribbon laces.

Puma Basket Heart Coach Style

Puma released a “Festival Pack” that includes a revamped Puma Basket Heart shoe with a design inspired by Coachella, a music and arts festival in Southern California. Following the theme of Coachella, the Puma Basket Heart Coach exemplifies a bohemian style from the pastel-hued color selections down to the subtle details.

Composing the majority of the upper is a leather material in tan accented with suede overlays in pink, oversized satin or ribbon laces, and gold foil brandings all throughout. The interior displays a feather print, matching the detachable feather charm and the gold foil feather print on the heel in place of the usual Jumping Cat logo. 

Notable Features

The Puma Basket Heart Coach is a revamped version of the Basket Heart shoe. The signature features of the Basket Heart are visible in this rendition, but few design upgrades were included to suit the Coachella theme that it portrays.

Firstly, this Puma women’s shoe displays a color scheme that initially sets off a bohemian vibe that holds together its themed design. Then, subtle accents are added to complete the Coachella-approved aesthetic. Feather prints are visible on the insoles as a subtle reference to the popular festivity. On the heel is another feather print in gold foil finish, which replaces the typical Jumping Cat logo in regular Puma Basket shoes. A detachable feather charm or keychain is also included to further elevate the stylish flair of the Puma Basket Heart Coach sneakers. 

Puma Basket Heart Coach History

Released in celebration of the Coachella Festival AKA California’s Valley Music and Arts Festival is an upgraded version of the Puma Basket Heart shoe. Named officially as the Puma Basket Heart Coach (Coach for Coachella) or Puma Basket Heart Festival, the special low-top women's shoe dropped in April 2018 in "Semolina" colorway alongside another Coachella-inspired Puma Basket silhouette, the Puma Basket Platform Coach in a "Silver Peony/ Cashmere Blue" colorway. The release came through a "Festival Pack." Each pair of this particular Puma Basket Heart shoe is initially priced out at $90.
