Puma Aril Blaze History
The Puma Aril Blaze has quite a story to tell. It is based on the silhouette of a model that the company launched in early 2015: the Puma Aril.
While the Aril was marketed as a brand new creation, fans were quick to realize that the shoe actually took several design cues from a model from the early 90s called the R698. Of course, it had numerous modern upgrades. One of which was the use of a translucent TPU saddle. Then there was its use of suede overlays that easily added sophistication and style.
The Puma Aril Blaze is the company’s most recent take on the Aril silhouette. It asserts a more streamlined look as it sheds most of the overlays in the forefoot area. It retains its TPU saddle and extends it to the heel in such a way that easily brings to mind the Puma Blaze of Glory’s rearfoot structure
Puma Aril Blaze Style
When it comes to style and sophistication, the Puma Aril Blaze surely delivers. Though stripped of the overlays that characterized its predecessor, its streamlined and rather barren forefoot cleverly makes up for the suede sophistication that was lost. Because it’s monochromatic, it’s so easy to match with almost any outfit, be it active wear or casual.
Fit & Sizing
The Puma Aril Blaze is available in both women’s and men’s sizes. The men will surely find the one that best fit them from sizes 10 to 13. The ladies, on the other hand, will get to choose from sizes 6 to 11. Wearers can adjust the fit of this shoe through an effective lacing system.
The barren forefoot is perhaps be the most defining feature of this model. It provides that streamlined look that many will want on a shoe.
Its TPU saddle and heel cage are also noteworthy. They bring protection as well as a uniqueness that a lot of wearers will surely appreciate.
