Profile of the Propet TravelActiv Mary Jane

The Propet TravelActiv Mary Jane is named after the activity it is meant for, which is traveling. Featuring a casual doll-shoe upper, it is still ready to perform like a sporty walking trainer.

Its platform is made of a lightweight and flexible EVA foam which also doubles as the outsole. The bottom sports the TravelTec design for grip and protection.

Outsole

The full-length TravelTek EVA compound serves as both the outsole and the midsole of the shoe. Such construction helps in keeping the weight of the footwear to the minimum. The underside employs a special textured design to ensure grip and protection.

Midsole

The TravelActiv Mary Jane sports a removable EVA insert for cushioning. It also serves to attenuate the impact of each step, keeping the lower extremities free from shock. The insole can be replaced with custom orthotics if needed.

Upper

The shoe uses breathable mesh as a primary material for its upper unit. The fabric is made sturdier at the toe box to protect it against abrasion. A nylon mesh material covers the interiors of the shoe for extra comfort.

Synthetic overlays can be seen around the rearfoot and at the hook-and-loop closure. They add structure and support to these areas.

As part of the mary-jane style of the shoe, it features an elastic strap across the midfoot. It keeps the footwear secured on the foot.
