Good to know
Stability and motion control add-ons are uncommon for workout shoes and are never present in CrossFit or weightlifting footwear. They are mostly found in walking shoes where the gait is easier to correct.
Training footwear typically weighs between 200g and 300g per shoe to accommodate agile workouts. Minimalist trainers go as low as 150g, while weightlifting shoes can go as high as 500g.

Updates to Propet Life Walker Strap
- The Propet Life Walker Strap is an everyday walking shoe that is quick to wear and remove because of its dual hook-and-loop straps. The full-grain leather upper offers support and protection to the foot.
- The ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam serves to protect the foot from impact. Comfort delivered by the midsole is doubled by the removable insole. As for the outsole, a rubber compound lines the underside to provide traction and durable protection.
Propet Life Walker Strap size and fit
The Propet Life Walker Strap accommodates male foot dimensions. It comes in men’s half and full US sizes, from 7 to 15. For the width, consumers can choose from D - Medium, E - Wide, 3E - Extra Wide, and 5E - Extra Wide profiles. The straps at the midfoot allow wearers to adjust the fit accordingly.
A rubber outsole protects the bottom of the Propet Life Walker Strap. This compound has been crafted to add durable protection without adding weight to the trainer. It also features a herringbone tread pattern for reliable traction.
The Propet Life Walker Strap employs the EVA foam midsole. This cushioning unit sports a rocker design that allows for a smooth heel-to-toe movement and keeping the weight or pressure off the toes. It is designed to absorb shock, protecting the lower extremities against the impact from each step.
Inside is a removable orthotic insert that adjuncts the purpose of the midsole. It has a raised middle portion to support the arch.
A full-grain supple leather makes up the upper of the Propet Life Walker Strap. This material delivers a supportive covering that still allows movement. It has leather overlays that amp up the style factor and the lateral support. Ventilation pores on the quarters and the vamp keep the interior fresh.
Two hook-and-loop straps are found at the midfoot for a quick on-and-off action. They secure the tongue in place and keep the foot locked down. The padded tongue and collar also contribute to the snug fit of the upper. The interior is lined with brush nylon that makes it easy for the foot to slide in and out.
At the back are the extended heel counter and the built-in heel stabilizer that has been contoured to secure the rearfoot properly. Both structures work to keep the foot steady during the walking gait cycle.
- The Propet Life Walker Strap is marked with the A5500 code. This type of shoes is covered by the Medicare Therapeutic Shoes for Persons with Diabetes Benefits program, which means 80% of the cost can be reimbursed to the buyer.
