  • The Propet Connelly Strap is modeled after outdoor walking shoes. It uses sturdy components like the suede upper that securely holds the foot. The mesh panels ensure that the interior is kept fresh.
  • For cushioning, it employs a full-length ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam. It has two removable insoles, with one or both can be taken out for a proper fit.
  • The outsole of the Connelly Strap is made of rubber. It has a tread pattern that provides grip on various surfaces as well as flex grooves at the forefoot for a smooth forward motion.
  • It shares many features with the original Propet Connelly. The only difference between the two iterations is the closure. This version uses two straps instead of a lacing system.

The Propet Connelly Strap caters to male users and is available in US sizes 7 to 15, including half and full size in between. As for the width, it comes in a standard D - Medium profile. Those in search of walking shoes in wide would be happy to know that it also comes in 3E - X-Wide and 5E - X-Wide.

A high-traction rubber makes up the outsole of the Propet Connelly Strap. This trainer is designed for outdoor use; thus the material is crafted to be durable and has a tread pattern that grips most surfaces. It also has flex grooves at the forefoot for better heel-to-toe transition.

The full-length EVA foam provides a comfortable underfoot cushioning on the Propet Connelly Strap. It is lightweight and designed to attenuate the impact of each step.

Inside the trainer are two removable insoles that allow users to customize the depth. The top insole is the OrthoLite foam which has an open-cell construction that promotes breathability. It is covered with a Dri-Lex fabric that prevents odor formation because of its antimicrobial properties. The bottom insole is a layer of memory foam that heightens shock attenuation.

Keeping the foot supported while wearing the Propet Connelly Strap is the suede leather upper. It is crafted to hold its shape while the mesh panels aid in ventilating the interior.

For fit adjustment, the trainer is equipped with two hook-and-loop straps instead of a traditional lace-up closure. These structures make for an easy on-and-off action and fit customization. The plushness of both tongue and collar prevents chafing and blisters and they also help hold the foot steady.

The Propet Connelly Strap bears the A5500 code. This marking means that under the Therapeutic Shoe Bill, people with severe diabetes can have the cost of this model reimbursed.
