Fit & Sizing

The Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-Five is so stylish, both men and women can’t do without it. This unisex shoe is available in sizes ranging from 4 to 14. The sizing listed is based on men’s measurements so women who want to cop a pair would have to go down a size and a half for the right fit.
The shoe is a mid-top and therefore provides more support for the ankles. The sneaker also makes use of the traditional lacing system to give a snug fit.

Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-Five MT Samsara Style

Show off your stylish shoe better by pairing the Onitsuka Tiger Eighty-Five MT Samsara with selvedge denim. The folded-up cuff will draw the eye downwards and towards the shoe. Match it with a casual slim-fitting tee for a laidback look.

Notable Features

The stylish makeover of the rugged Colorado Eighty-Five into the MT Samsara is a definite head-turner. The shoe has been given an almost chukka-like feel and a contrasting midsole with an obviously sporty and trail-inspired vibe. A plush leather upper adds a premium look to the shoe.

Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-Five MT Samsara History

The Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-Five MT Samsara is based on the iconic Colorado Eighty-Five, the brand’s flagship sneaker. The original silhouette appeared as a trail runner during the fitness rage of the 80s. It came back again in 2012 and has since then been a favorite canvas for designers and boutiques for a collaboration. In fact, many of the brand’s best collabs used the Colorado Eighty-Five model. From BAIT’s “The Legend,” a tribute to the late Bruce Lee, to J.Crew’s “Shadow Gray” and “Classic Gravel,” the shoe has gone from fame to fame.

In 2016, Onitsuka Tiger again used the silhouette as their starting point to come out with a new version—the Samsara. This time around the sneaker sported a mid-cut profile and a minimalistic look with the Tiger Formstripe subtly laid out in the form of perforated details. A speckled midsole and perf accents in the speckled midsole give the silhouette a more contemporary feel despite the heritage style.
