Updates to Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX
- The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX brings a whole new idea to the increasingly popular running shoe. The shoe gives more ankle support than they have had before in the previous models.
- Developed with the ZoomX cushioning technology, it ushers in an appealing midfoot shroud that appears to help in the shoe’s lockdown, while the inner bootie entrance system assists in providing more comfort.
- It now also features an asymmetrical inner sock that follows the contours of the ankles and Achilles tendon, while an external lacing cage locks the translucent upper to an aerodynamically sculpted sole that drops along the sides and tapers neatly to a keel at the back.
- And the most remarkable update is the pull-on sock upper with external lacing cage helps in making the runner’s foot feel snug while keeping it in place during the run.
Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX size and fit
The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX, same with its predecessor the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35, is also known to come in true to size fit and sizing. It comes in standard medium D for men and standard medium B for women. Although tagged as true to its sizing, it would still be beneficial to potential users to visit the nearest running specialty shop to get their right Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX fit.
The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX has an outsole tread that is made up of nubs shaped as pentagon all across the length of the shoe and the areas prone to high-wear are developed from carbon rubber with a geometric pattern that aids the shoe with its durability.
It also sports the React foam that is not only as durable as the carbon rubber but it also helps in stabilizing the shoe’s ZoomX foam cushioning in the midsole section.
The Pegasus Turbo XX is designed with the ZoomX foam midsole that offers unparalleled responsiveness that helps with the shoe’s speed and agility. The full-length foam sits directly under the foot for heightened responsiveness.
It also features a transparent TPU overlay that supports the midfoot area with an internal arch fit system.
The featured pull-on sock upper with external lacing cage on the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX helps in locking down the translucent upper to the streamlined sculpted sole. This translucent upper has been updated with racing stripes that both look and feel fast.
The shoe’s upper also has the Reflective Swoosh design trademark showcased across the shoe’s tongue.
