Good to know

Use - As its name suggests, the Nike Zoom Javelin Elite 2 is made for throwing events. It specializes in javelin throw as it is tailored for javelin-precise movements. On other throwing events such as hammer throw, shot put, and discus, the shoe is still a perfect companion.

Spike Type - The shoe features eleven 5/16-inch pyramid spikes. These pins are configured to deliver superior grip on different surfaces.

Spike Plate - Featuring a full-length Pebax® plate, the Zoom Javelin Elite 2 is made for both durability and flexibility without sacrificing weight.

Built with an asymmetrical design, the Nike Zoom Javelin Elite 2 promises to deliver support and flexibility. To do so, the shoe has gone through some refinements. One of which is the shoe’s integration of its forefoot strap, giving it a secure lockdown.

The Desmopan® toe cap gives durability in times of toe dragging, extending the life span of the shoe.

The Nike Zoom Javelin Elite 2 is available in unisex sizing, following men’s sizing scheme. Female users are encouraged to go 1.5 sizes down in order to get the perfect pair.

Several elements of the shoe contribute to its fit. This includes the Flywire technology which allows dynamic fit. The forefoot strap and ratchet strap of the shoe also keeps a lockdown fit.

The outsole of the Nike Zoom Javelin Elite 2 consists of a full-length Pebax® plate. It is a rigid polymer plate that is designed to increase propulsion, as well as provide flexibility and lightness to the shoe. It has eleven spike receptacles that are meant to deliver powerful traction.

Several flex grooves are embellished to the outsole to permit more natural foot movement and bending. To further this capability, an anatomical heel is integrated.

A full-length Phylon™ midsole, just like that of Nike Zoom 400, is made out of compressed, heat-expanded, and molded TPU pellets. This midsole material delivers a responsive cushioning to the Zoom Javelin Elite 2.

Supplemented to the midfoot is a carbon fiber shank, improving torsional rigidity. With this, stability and propulsion are delivered, boosting the throw.

The synthetic leather upper of the Zoom Javelin Elite 2 provides outer protection from dirt and debris. It also adapts to the contours of the foot to secure a supportive fit and in-shoe comfort.

One of Nike's innovations, the Flywire technology is furnished over the midfoot to supply a sturdy, lightweight and dynamic fit. It consists of high tensile strength fibers that are layered between TPU and foam.

An adjustable forefoot strap is utilized in order to supply a forefoot lockdown. It is adjustable for a customized and comfortable fit. Situated in the ankle is the Nike Zoom Javelin Elite 2’s ratchet strap. This secures superb hold upon foot plant for better performance.

For added durability, a Desmopan® toe cap is provided in order to deliver protection during toe drag.
