Nike Roshe Two History

In 2010, designer Dylan Raasch came up with a simple and versatile sneaker in which many expressed uncertainties. However, when the design was released in the market in 2012, the sneaker world was shaken from the massive clamor from the public. The Swoosh company named this as the Nike Roshe Run.

Many users applauded the simplicity and minimalist design of the Roshe Run. Raasch was inspired from the simplicity of the Zen art. He wanted to just feature the essentials in a shoe. The term Roshe was coined from the word “Roshi” which means Zen master.

The versatility of the first Roshe is described as superb. Many buyers share that they could practically wear their Roshe shoes from a light training to just walking around the park. The construction of the Roshe Run is also uncomplicated. It is made with two piece stretchable upper, minimal lacing and single piece sole. The price point is another point added to the Roshe as it is available at a very affordable price.

The Roshe has become a staple pair during the early 2010s. This model was renamed Roshe One in 2015 when they released the retro iteration of this shoe.

Finally, after 4 years, Nike released an updated version of the well-loved pair. Nike dropped the Roshe Two in 2016 featuring updated details. This second flagship model from the Roshe series showcases a sock-like fit with breathable upper and updated midsole.

Nike Roshe Two Style
