Nike Roshe One SE History

The designer, Dylan Raasch, conceptualized a simple yet functional shoe design in 2010. It was launched in 2012 as the Nike Roshe Run, showcasing a very simple silhouette with functional features. The Swoosh, unexpectedly, received an immense bay from the masses who want to get their hands on this sneaker.

The selling point of the Nike Roshe line is in its austerity. It was inspired by the Zen art’s simplicity and calmness. The Roshe was coined from the word Roshi, which means Zen master. This shoe only offers the essentials and no other embellishments. This model means to showcase only an uncomplicated construction.

The majority of the people who adore the Roshe Run noted about the versatility of this pair. Most of them described how they use their pair, from a short distance running to strolling along the city streets. For them, their Roshe Run is a perfect everyday casual shoe.

This pair was renamed Roshe One in 2015 to emphasize that this pair is the forerunner in the Roshe line. Like any legend, the Nike released a special edition of this Roshe One. The Roshe One SE was released carrying the same silhouette with minor updates in the materials used on the upper.
