Nike Roshe One Print History
Back in 2012, Nike introduced the Nike Roshe Run to the public. Dylan Raasch, Nike Designer, was the person who designed the Nike Roshe Run silhouette. The process of designing the shoe wasn’t that easy as with the midsole design went through a course of having 16 revisions and the upper design took over 50 modifications. It was the Roshi Zen Master that they actually took the inspiration from. Nike then used the name “Roshe” than “Roshi” for the legal purposes. The pattern on the soles of the shoe was designed to imitate garden stepping stones. The original “Iguana” colorway was also inspired by the garden white rocks and moss.
The silhouette was released without any kind of promo and was offered in a rather affordable price. The brand just laid it out to the public and let the product work on its own. It gained positive reviews from the public and had given some influence around, making the brand to release variations on the colorways and drop some collaborative releases of the silhouette.
In 2015, Nike officially changed the name of the shoe from “Nike Roshe Run” to “Nike Roshe One”. Various iterations were done to the silhouette and new sets of colorways were released. One version of this shoe was the Nike Roshe One Print which features a printed colorway for the upper. A variety of printed colorways were released for the shoe for both men and women, providing a rather more options for the people when getting a pair of this kicks.
