Nike Roshe One Flyknit History

Flyknit was introduced by Nike in 2012. After it has made its appearance in the Flyknit racer, the technology has been adapted to the running, soccer, training, basketball and lifestyle releases, leading Nike to be one of the most creative sportswear brands in the planet.

The use of the Flyknit’s knitted fabrics across the upper of a shoe unlocked completely the new possibilities in designing any footwear. Each stitch of an upper of a shoe can be micro-engineered and changed based on the individual needs of the user. In the fashion industry, the Nike Flyknit technology has evolved to be a go-to look. Brand new silhouettes, new colors, and the additional comfort given by the Flyknit made it to be one of those must have shoes.

The Nike Roshe line adapted the Nike Flyknit technology, which makes it even better. The Roshe Run was designed by Dylan Raasch. It went through a number of 16 adjustments on the midsole alone, before a design was agreed by the majority. The inspiration of the Nike Roshe sneaker came from a Roshi Zen Master. But for legal reasons and purposes Nike decided to change this from “Roshi" to “Roshe”. The sole of the Roshe were made to copy the stepping stones found in the garden, and the original Iguana design got its inspiration from the white rocks and moss in the garden.

From the first release of the Roshe Run, a few variations have been released already. One of these variations is the Roshe One and then finally, the Flyknit version of the Roshe One.

Nike Roshe One Flyknit Style

It is also great with a casual look when running some errands or with an appropriate work attire and used for the day-to-day routine. The shoe works well with a pair of skinny jeans, joggers, jean joggers, and also leggings and shorts. It is great for some uniforms like for nurses and doctors when on duty.

Fit & Sizing

The traditional lace-up closure system of the Nike Roshe One Flyknit allows the wearer to adjust the shoe in a comfortable fit when wearing. The shoe fairly runs true to size, and is offered in women’s sizing from 6 to12.5.
