After Michael Jordan’s official retirement from basketball, Nike released a new line with a then-unknown rookie named LeBron James. Fresh out of high school Nike tapped the teenaged basketball player and took a chance on signing a deal with him. The LeBron line was created with basketball being the main ingredient to its whole assembly.

LeBron and Nike released their first basketball shoe in 2003 and has released a shoe every single year ever since. The line’s initial releases didn’t click with sneaker fans at first but, obviously, things have turned around eventually.

Fast forward to 2014, after a huge success in the basketball world Nike and LeBron released a lifestyle sneaker meant for everyday wear. The Nike LeBron XII NSW Lifestyle shoe has been re-modeled for off-court activities. It is available in different colorways, styles, and materials that no one had seen coming.

The Nike LeBron XII NSW Lifestyle takes after the Nike Lebron XII, the basketball version. It features the same high-top silhouette but more stylized for everyday wear.
