Profile of the Nike LeBron 16 Low

In 2003, an 18-year old LeBron James entered the league and left all doubts behind. He racked up 25 points, dished out nine assists, grabbed six boards, and bagged four steals.

The Nike LeBron 16 Low is inspired by James’s rookie season. Powered by Zoom Air and Max Air cushioning, these low-top basketball shoes from Nike embody his clout and versatility on and off the court.

Performance

Cushion. The Nike LeBron 16 Low boasts a combination of Max Air and Zoom Air cushioning. This cushioning setup is designed to absorb impact from hard landings and then rebound with energy. These Nike basketball shoes are also equipped with a resilient foam midsole for added cushioning and comfort.

Traction. Like the mid-top LeBron 16, these low-top basketball shoes also feature an articulated rubber outsole with a modified traction pattern for increased flexibility and grip on the court.

Fit

Length and Width. These low-top Nike basketball shoes reportedly run true to size. Owners suggest ordering your real size when copping a pair.

Lockdown. The Nike LeBron 16 low has a custom lacing system that keeps the foot locked-in no matter what. A rigid heel clip provides added support and heel lockdown.

Material

The low-top Nike LeBron 16 features a mesh/textile upper with a stretchy collar and heel pull tab for easy entry.

Style

This LeBron 16 is cut low to match LeBron James’s power and speed. Clever accents combined with the Max Air and Zoom Air cushioning not only make this a great performance sneaker but also a fashionable one at that.

Nike LeBron 16 Low ‘Safari’

The same year LeBron James entered the NBA, Nike released the Atmos X Nike Air Max 1 ‘Safari’ that pays tribute to the OG Air Max and Air Safari.

In 2019, Nike and James teamed up with Atmos once again to celebrate the legendary sneaker. The Nike LeBron 16 Low ‘Safari’ boasts a tan and brown hue across its suede upper. The famous Safari print lands on the heel and mudguard.

LeBron James debuted these stylish low-top basketball sneakers during the 2019 All-Star weekend.

Nike LeBron 16 Low ‘Soundtrack’
