Nike Killshot OG SP: When icon meets fashion

This low-top tennis-inspired sneaker encapsulates a sense of casual fashion style. Its foam upper is wrapped with mesh material, added with suede overlays on its toe and heel. To stay authentic to its retro vibe, Nike used open foam detail on the tongue and kept its vintage sole. This preppy sneaker is splashed with the vibrant hue on its heel and on its Swoosh branding, to curb the neutral look and enhance the retro feel.

More about the Nike Killshot

The sleek Nike Killshot became popular when it was launched in the 70s as performance footwear for racquetball and squash. It has a low-cut profile to allow freedom of movement, necessary when playing fast games. The brand also constructed it with a mesh upper to boost its overall ventilation.

Because of its minimalist look, the Killshot was used as a base model of Nike and J. Crew collaboration. Together, they unveiled its modernized variation dubbed as Nike Killshot 2. In this version, the mesh upper was replaced with leather, and the leather heel was changed into suede. The suede mudguard was retained but is now streamlined and slimmer than its predecessor.
