Nike primarily named the first edition as Nike Zenji, but Nike didn’t initially realized that it produced a racist name that showed a disrespectful meaning when uttered in Arabic. Thus, inspired by the sneaker model Rujevn8 Mid, it was named Nike Juvenate.

In that same year, for two months in a row, Nike released its summer collection and a new design, having black and white polka dot prints on the sneaker. Various colorways were released, like the new zebra print and wide color selection.

Last year, the rainbow upper design of Nike Juvenate was released giving the line an incredible color combination of electric green, gamma blue and pink blast. The Nike Juvenate SE is composed of a very flexible upper material that is foldable. It gives the user a sock like structure for the feet that is very much comfortable throughout the ride.
