The realm of skateboarding and golf seem to have nothing in common. One epitomizes rebelliousness and a no-holds-barred attitude, wherein creativity and slight recklessness, are welcomed. The other, meanwhile, portrays refinement and sophistication. All of which are within a confined set of rules.

The introduction of the Janoski G blurred the line and proved that a crossover between the two sports is possible. Originally beginning its tale within the bounds of skateboarding, the Janoski has always deviated from the typical styling. Instead of the usual bulky and chunky exterior, the skateboarding shoe possesses a sleeker built.

It puts the Janoski to advantage because it transcends well to the stylish players on the course.

The Janoski G only demanded a slight fine-tuning. Just a couple of changes to help the golfer keep up with the demands of the sport.

While almost every minute detail remains similar to the original model, one of the changes that were made is the outsole. The sawtooth bottom is intentionally-placed to draw in traction on different surface conditions while maintaining a low-profile design.

The interior of this Nike golf shoe is placed with a soft sockliner. This technology puts a cushion on each step so that all-day comfort is ensured.

A blend of leather and suede serves as the upper of the shoe. The materials create a durable and comfortable coating. The upper is also equipped with waterproof protection and a one year-waterproofing warranty. It means that this product is suitable for all-conditions wear.

The low-top construction of the Janoski G comes in useful for both skateboarding and golf as it permits freedom on the ankles. The collar is padded to bring in more comfort and better the fit of the trainer.

From the original, nothing much has changed for the golf version. The Janoski style stamp - minimalist and simple - deviates a lot from the typical skateboard shoe but blends well with the sophisticated styling of golfers.

This shoe pairs well with all articles of clothing, so as it follows the rules of the club. More so, given its spikeless nature, golfers can also enjoy wearing it off the turf.
