Updates to Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1
- The Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1 is a high-cut workout shoe designed in collaboration with the Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson.
- The shoe features the Max Air midsole. This technology uses a foam compound that houses pressurized air to deliver maximum impact absorption and comfort.
- The underside is protected by rubber. This material adds traction to support dynamic movements.
Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1 size and fit
The Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1 is offered in US half and whole sizes, from 8 to 13, for male athletes. It comes only in a D – Medium width profile. The textile upper with synthetic and real leather overlays enhance the fit while the cage-like structure at the back provides ankle and heel support.
For traction, the Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1 is equipped with a rubber outsole. This compound is also durable to protect the midsole and keep it from wearing out quickly. The tread pattern on this model enhances surface grip while the wavy groove promotes forefoot flexion and side-to-side agility.
The Nike Max Air technology takes care of the underfoot cushioning in the Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1. This platform is engineered to be lightweight yet resilient, allowing it to bear repetitive impacts and minimizing the shock traveling to the body. The foam is blow-molded to ensure that the maximum volume of air is sealed inside without compromising the integrity of the compound. The Max Air can easily be spotted because of its signature visible air unit in the heel.
Rendering protection is the textile upper material. It makes use of a combination of real and synthetic leather overlays to protect the fabric against abrasion. They also add structure to the top portion of the shoe.
The high-cut silhouette delivers ankle coverage and support. The back portion of the footwear sports a cage-like element that keeps the rearfoot steady during rapid movements.
A traditional lacing system allows wearers to adjust the fit. At the back of the shoe is a fin-like structure with “DANGERUSS” debossed on it. This element serves as a heel tab that can be utilized to pull on the shoe quickly.
- Wilson’s jersey number, 3, has been cleverly incorporated into the trainer. There are three rubber nodes on the tip of the toe box; eyelets are grouped into three; the Max Air unit has 3 bubbles.
