Good to know

The Blazer Mid Sacai is available in unisex sizing. These sneakers run true to size so it is suggested for one to go the usual size. For women who would like to cop a pair, it is advised to go a half size down.

As for the shoe’s closure, it is tied down with double laces with contrasting colors for a more secure and personalized fit.

Having a style that translates to Sacai’s deconstructed aesthetic using the two-fold design elements, the sneaker features a number of duplicated and overlapped design touches which includes just a double of everything, double Swooshes, laces, and tongues. Nike Blazer Mid x Sacai presents a heavily layered upper with super soft and premium leather materials. The leather eyelets come with an underlying strip of leather which covers the forefoot while quadruple-stacked rubber foxing expands up from the midsole and covers a really large portion of the heel.

Furthermore, a double nylon tongue with an exposed foam padding, together with dual lace sets and dual Nike with Sacai branding on the tongue adds to the unconventional and retro design. This limited edition Nike Blazer Mid is offered in numerous cool colorways namely wolf grey, black/wolf grey, university blue-sail-white/black, and varsity maize/midnight navy/white/varsity red. As stylish and as unique as they are, these shoes are definitely easy to pair with a number of outfits. They can go well with casual and street style ensembles which include a pair of jeans, joggers, and chinos that are topped with plain-colored shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, or sweaters.

While the original shape of the Nike Blazer has been retained, there are a lot of unique features that are added throughout the whole sneaker. The midsole rises up through the shoe in diagonal overlays. With a well-padded sockliner and insole, they provide enhanced comfort on feet. Moreover, the sole has a moderate thickness, making it very easy and comfortable to walk, even for a whole day.

The extra rubber on the toe offers extra protection. Additionally, a pull tab at the rear allows for an easy on and off.  At the bottom of the shoes, the signature cupsole gives a classic-inspired look with herringbone-patterned gum tread pattern for more grip and traction.

Founded in 1964, the world’s leading sports brand Nike was originally named Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman, a track-and-field coach at the University of Oregon, with his former student Phil Knight. The teacher-student tandem invested $500 to import Tiger shoes from Japan to sell them in the United States. They then opened their first retail outlet in 1966 and officially became Nike, which the company takes the name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, in 1971. A year later, they launched the Nike brand in 1972.

Globally known as a top brand, Nike has created thousands of sneakers that are highly-anticipated by millions. They have been in collaborations with famous icons, artists, sports legends, and designers. One of the most talked-about collaborations is Nike and Sacai, an avant-garde Japanese brand that’s known for its sophisticated and contemporary styles. Just like the previous sneaker collaborations from the Swoosh and the fashion-forward Japanese label, you get two Nikes for the price of one.

In this collaboration, the Nike Blazer Mid has been given the touch of Sacai. The Sacai x Nike Blazer Mid applies the same doubled-up aesthetics of the LDWaffle collection to the iconic Blazer Mid, resulting in yet another coveted must-cop between the Japanese high fashion label and Nike.

  • This special-edition silhouette combines the Nike Dunk and Blazer, taking panel inspirations from both shoes.
  • The Nike Blazer Mid x Sacai has co-branded Nike x Sacai logo on the heel tab, insole, and tongue.
