  • The Nike Air Zoom Streak 5 is a lightweight shoe for running that’s made to handle long distance races. It is even durable enough to work well on marathons. Made from materials and components that are of high quality, this shoe ensures the comfort, protection and great performance any runner needs to come out victorious. It even has a minimalist design that’s still appealing to look at.
  • This running shoe makes use of a mesh material that resembles woven cloth. It has an open construction, which means that it is able to encourage air to keep the interior environment cool and dry for the foot. On the sides are cables that support the foot by allowing the upper to wrap around it in a snug yet secure manner.
  • The mid-sole unit features the Cushion LT, foam unit that runs the entire length of the shoe. It is responsible for delivering plush cushioning to the whole of the wearer’s underfoot. It doesn’t break down easily, so it stays efficient, even after many uses. A pressurized air pocket that flexes on contact adds impact protection and responsiveness to the performance of the runner.
  • The outsole of the 5th version of the Air Zoom Streak from Nike utilizes two rubber materials that are meant to keep the shoe safe from the potentially damaging effects of continued use, as well as surface abrasion. The forefoot area’s rubber unit even adds a bit more cushioning that’s helpful for the toe-off phase.

The Nike Air Zoom Streak 5 employs standard measurements when it comes to the length. The men and women’s versions have the right sizing schemes, making it easier for runners when it comes to choosing the correct one for their use. The width that is available for this model is medium, so it accommodates those who have feet that are medium sized. Its semi-curved shape follows the natural curvature of the human foot.

The BRS 1000 carbon rubber is placed in the rear of the Nike Air Zoom Streak 5’s outsole. It’s durable and it doesn’t wear off easily, so it is able to reliably protect the rest of the sole unit from damage or abrasion.

The Duralon blown rubber is an extra-thick material that’s conveniently placed in the forefoot area. Its purpose is to protect the sole unit and deliver additional cushioning to the area. It’s especially helpful when it comes to making sure that the metatarsals get the right amount of comfort when they flex.

Cushlon LT is a mid-sole technology that’s responsible for delivering high quality cushioning and underfoot support. It runs the entire length of the Nike Air Zoom Streak 5, thus ensuring that the whole underside of the foot gets great cushioning that it deserves.

The Zoom Air is a heel section technology that utilizes an air-pocket that’s pressurized. Its responsibility is to give additional cushioning upon impact. Heel strikers are going to particularly appreciate it because it makes the rear of the shoe more convenient to their needs.

Engineered mesh is a lightweight, but durable material that’s responsible for ensuring the comfort and protection of the foot. It has an open construction, so it allows the foot to stay ventilated throughout the entire running session.

Dynamic Flywire cables are found in the mid-foot section and connected to the lacing system. They cause the upper to tighten or loosen in accordance with the adjustments made to the actual shoelaces.
