Nike Air Vapormax EVO NRG: Bringing evolutionary energy every day

Perfect for the upcoming Air Max Day, the Nike Air Vapormax EVO NRG is bursting with iconic features picked from Air Max models from the past. Nike seamlessly replicated panels from various iterations and integrated them successfully into a single "crazy-looking" model. Seven Air Max models were used as reference keys to this sneaker's aesthetics, and trying to find the reference features feels like a treasure hunt.

The left and right pair display mismatched upper. The left sneaker celebrates the Air Max 90 Warhawk, Air Max 90 Moon Landing, the Blue Air Max 1 OG, and the Air Max 180 Comme des Garcons. Meanwhile, the right pair displays the Air Max 98 Snakeskin, Air Max 1/97, and Air Max Plus OG

Additional exciting features

The story of this iteration starts on its box. It displays a mash-up of iconic variations of Nike Air Max sneakers' boxes. It gave a "torn apart" effect of past Air Max models' packages and pasted it all on a single box, creating a neck-breaking box design. Also, this sneaker comes with a booklet that features the different Air Max iterations used as the reference of the EVO NRG model.

Found underfoot is the Vapormax 2 outsole that looks like water tubing. It is a single-piece Air unit, creating more underfoot bouncy cushioning. It also has glow-in-the-dark TPU rubber pods that are strategically placed to enhance durability and traction.
