Nike Air Max Pre-Day: Retro look with modern comfort

Paying homage to the technology that made Nike build its brand globally, the Nike Air Max Pre-Day cues the next era of Nike Air.

Considered one of the more underrated releases of 2021, the Nike Air Max Pre-Day displays noteworthy aesthetics that combines the late 70s and 2020s fashion. It highlights its simplified design to minimize waste and a re-engineered Air-Sole unit to give a bouncier and more responsive ride.

What's the update?

The Air-Sole unit found on the heel of Pre-Day is the same Air technology seen on the Nike Air Max 1s and Nike Air Max 90s and the Air Jordans IIIIVV, and VI. Nike re-designed this to conceive a fully exposed Air unit between the midsole and outsole, unlike the classic AM models that Air units are only seen through a window.

This updated design modernizes the renowned technology to deliver a better underfoot sensation. It was able to lessen the layers that separate the foot and the Air unit, thus allowing a bouncier feel and better comfort with each step.
