The famous Footscape, designed by Tory Orzeck, was originally developed for wide-footed runners in the year 1996. Researched and developed by Nike’s Advanced Engineering Group and Nike Sports Research Lab, it was also considered one of the most aerodynamic models during that time.

On the other hand, the Nike Air Woven, which was designed by Mike Aveni was initially launched in Japan in 2000. Acclaimed for its superior comfort and fit, it sold out instantly. Shortly after, its customer base grew significantly worldwide.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka, a groundbreaking silhouette launched in 2006, was a product of the fusion of the Footscape’s asymmetrical lacing system and innovative midsole design as well as the Air Woven’s unique textile pattern weave.
