The New Balance Numeric 213 is offered in unisex sizing. However, the sneakers have a wider and larger fit than other New Balance shoes so it is suggested for those with narrower feet to go a half or full size down.
But given the materials used in these shoes, they still fit like a glove and hugs the feet all the way around. For a more adjusted and secure fit, a traditional lace-up closure with a very durable set of laces is utilized.
Crafted from a lightweight and practical blend of canvas upper and suede overlays, the mid-top Numeric 213 offers all-round protection with its multi-layered toe cap detailing, dual-layer craftsmanship, and the abrasion-resistant Ndurance rubber foxing-tape finishings. Giving a nostalgic court-side vibe, these high-cut collared 213’s are finished with metal eyelets, flat cotton laces, and with contrast-colored stitching that help bring more definition to the shoe’s body. Signed off with sleek leather ‘N’ letter side decals, a contrast-toned ‘NB#’ tongue label with soft-touch toe box material selections make for added texture.
These sneakers come in several colorways which are in all-black, orange/black Franky Villani, stone blue/white, and white/red. With a stylish and trendy look, these unique mid-collared lace-ups go best with skate or street-focused wardrobe.
Adding to the New Balance Numeric Pro Court’s collection, the 213 mid-top version provides the same durability and comfort with a higher cut collar for ankle protection. With the closed-cell polyurethane (PU) insert protection, incredible impact protection, and consistent fit are delivered. For more in-foot comfort, a cushioned, molded EVA insole is utilized.
Moreover, the multi-layered toe cap makes for the shoe’s durability. With a vulcanized construction, this gives a better and more flexible board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk. As for the bottom of the shoes, genuine gum rubber or N-Durance rubber outsole is designed to provide superior grip and durability. Also, the N-Durance rubber compound features maximum outsole durability.
Founded in 1906, New Balance is regarded as one of the prominent footwear manufacturers in the whole shoe industry and has become a global leader in athletic gear. The brand has pioneered some of the athletic shoe advancements concerning support mechanisms and midsole technologies. Throughout the years, New Balance continued to entice the market with appealing lines of classic athletic shoes that ignited so much interest among running enthusiasts. Given the growing demand, the trend went on until the 1980s which led to the rebirth of some of the vintage running shoes that remain to draw attention until today.
Started in 1906 but wasn't recognized until 2013, New Balance began its Numeric skate shoe line. Well respected for their premium build quality and unparalleled comfort, New Balance transferred this know-how into their skate shoes. With this, the result is superior durability thanks to the more updated premium materials used in the pair, with a vulcanized sole, whilst the higher cut collar provides ankle protection.
