The New Balance Furon V5 Pro Firm Ground shoe has a Fantom fit upper that boasts a no-sew construction. It makes use of lightweight mesh and a supportive synthetic material. Similar to the Adidas Mundial Goal, the fit is reinforced through a central lacing system combined with a tongueless design.

The outsole is composed of triangular studs that are well-suited for traction and grip on firm ground pitches. The forefoot area carries a total of ten spikes while the heel area holds a total of four.

A central lacing system with a tongueless design serves as the shoe’s closure system. This feature delivers fit customization and foot lockdown.

The upper of the New Balance Furon Pro V5 Firm Ground shoe is uses Fantom fit, which is made from a combination of lightweight mesh and a supportive synthetic layer. This no-sew technology anatomically targets specific foot areas for support. A central lacing system over a tongueless construction is there for fit customization and foot lockdown.

Ortholite inserts have been made part of the shoe’s construction to reinforce comfort.

The outsole of the fifth version of the New Balance Furon makes use of triangular studs situated in the forefoot as well as the heel areas. The forefoot carries a total of ten studs while the heel has four. This configuration has been designed to deliver optimal traction and performance in firm ground pitches.

Furthermore, the outsole features triangular cut-outs which elevate the aesthetic element of the pair. However, this feature is purely for the shoe’s look as opposed to adding to the shoe’s performance in court.

  • The New Balance is available in a black/green colorway.
  • A version of this model with a leather upper has been made available by the brand.
