The outsole of this shoe is awesome.

It's not the lightest shoe in the world but it's also not super heavy.

The knitted upper slips easily onto the foot like a sock, but is nice and snug once you’re in.

- Taking inspiration from the biomechanics and high-speed footage of elite runners, the design of the New Balance FuelCell Echo is made to supply that propulsive running experience. The midsole construction of the shoe is composed of the infamous FuelCell technology, powering propulsion and optimizing the transitions of the runners.

- To deliver quality performance regardless of condition and surface, a full-length rubber outsole is utilized by this running shoe

- The engineered knit upper of the New Balance FuelCell Echo secures the foot and provides a locked-down fit. An external thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) heel counter furthers the security of the foot and prevents the heel from slipping.

To secure the fit and support provided by the FuelCell Echo, an engineered knit upper has been employed. Furnished to the shoe is an external heel counter which prevents heel slippage while providing a secure fit. The traditional lace-up closure of the shoe allows an adjustable fit that secures lockdown.

The New Balance FuelCell Echo is available in standard sizing measurement for both men and women.

The New Balance FuelCell Echo features a full-length rippled rubber outsole that delivers the shoe’s sticky grip on various grounds. Aside from that, this component allows good traction regardless of surface and condition.

The outsole is designed using Ndurance rubber, known for being highly durable. This outsole material employs lightweight properties, shedding off some weight from the FuelCell Echo to allow a more efficient ride

The most noteworthy feature of this FuelCell Echo is the FuelCell midsole which runs the entire length of the shoe. A midsole technology from New Balance that powers the propulsion of the runner. To deliver optimized transitions when running and thereby increasing the speed of the runner, this midsole technology is designed via data-driven midsole shaping. The technology’s shock attenuating properties help protect the foot from impact and deliver a comfortable ride.

For a lightweight and breathable experience, the shoe employs an engineered knit material which is also the same upper component found in the Altra Escalante 1.5. The knitted upper of the New Balance FuelCell Echo delivers not only style but strategic support. It also contributes to the overall comfort supplemented by the shoe.

An external TPU heel counter further secures the fit of the shoe. With this heel counter, lockdown fit is provided and heel slippage is prevented from occurring. The lace-up closure system of the shoe ensures that the foot stays in place throughout the run by allowing a customizable fit.

The Bootie construction of the FuelCell Echo integrates the tongue which contributes to the construction. This design provides a seamless and secure fit.

In order to promote visibility during low-light hours, reflective elements are embellished on the upper of the shoe.
