Updates to New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 Breathe

  • The New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 Breathe is a road shoe that’s designed to offer comfort and protection for the neutral runner. Its design is fundamentally similar to the original Zante v3, but the difference is in the upper. For this model, dubbed as Breathe, the engineered mesh has a lot more perforations. Thus it allows more air to enter the foot-chamber and maintain a cool and dry environment for the wearer.
  • The underfoot cushioning system is made up of the Fresh Foam unit, a full-length material that aims to provide plush cushioning that does not weigh down the foot. Blown rubber covers the underside of the foam, protecting it from wear and tear while also giving surface-traction.

New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 Breathe size and fit

This special version of the New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 has a standard running shoe length. It accommodates the choices of runners when it comes to the sizing scheme. The available widths are D – Medium for men and B – Medium for women. It has a semi-curved shape that follows the natural curvature of the human foot.

Blown rubber is the material that’s used for the outsole unit of the New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 Breathe. It covers the entire length of the platform, making sure to shield it from the abrasive nature of the asphalt.

Hexagonal design is prominent in the rubber construction. Its purpose is to heighten the traction over the surfaces. The spaces between these hexagons act like grooves that permit the flexibility of the sole unit.

Fresh Foam makes up the primary midsole of the New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 Breathe. This full-length unit offers responsive cushioning throughout the run. It has hexagonal patterns and pores that heighten the springiness of the platform.

A traditional sock liner is added to provide additional cushioning for the underfoot. It can be removed or replaced with custom orthotics.

Engineered Mesh is a lightweight material that resembles cloth. Its soft disposition doesn’t irritate the foot in any way. For the Zante v3 Breathe, it has been purposely enhanced to accommodate a higher level of breathability. Ventilation-pores now pockmark the majority of the façade. They ensure the circulation of air throughout the foot-chamber.

A no-sew construction is employed in this model. It allows the foot to feel a soft and smooth in-shoe experience that’s free of irritation or hot spots.

Fabric panels are stitched to the midfoot and heel sections. They connect directly to the lacing system, so whenever the shoelaces are tightened or loosened, the lightweight overlays go along with them. This mechanism gives a secure yet customizable fit for the runner.
