  • The Fresh Foam VAADU is crafted for men who like to add a fashionable twist to their workout gear. This workout trainer from New Balance is designed to be lightweight and durable to withstand rigorous workout sessions.
  • The upper uses the HypoSkin technology. This material creates a wrap that naturally moves and expands with the foot.
  • The midsole is made of the Fresh Foam, a soft and responsive cushioning. It decreases the shock felt by the foot by compressing when it hits the ground and quickly bouncing back to its original shape upon the toe-off.
  • Rubber protects the bottom of the shoe. The tread pattern on it allows it to be flexible in any direction and heightens the traction offered by the rubber. The QUIX rubber technology is present at the medial forefoot to support lateral cuts and dynamic movements.

The New Balance Fresh Foam VAADU is designed to accommodate the shape and dynamics of men’s feet. It is available in US men’s sizes 7 to 15. It comes in D - Medium and 2E - Wide.

The New Balance Fresh Foam VAADU utilizes a rubber outsole. This material is meant to be hard-wearing and provide traction on various types of indoor and outdoor surfaces. It features a hexagonal tread pattern that enhances grip of the rubber. It is also non-marking which means that it doesn’t leave scuff marks on polished floors.

The QUIX, New Balance’s proprietary rubber technology, is used to reinforce the medial forefoot. It amplifies traction needed for lateral cuts during certain exercises.

The plush midsole of the New Balance Fresh Foam VAADU is made of the Fresh Foam technology. This cushioning platform is engineered to be responsive; compressing to absorb shock and immediately springing back to its original form, ready for the next step.

A similar Fresh Foam component is aso used in a more recent workout shoe, the New Balance Fresh Foam Zante Trainer.

The New Balance Fresh Foam VAADU sports a bootie construction which allows users to quickly put on or take off the shoe. The upper is made of the HypoSkin, a proprietary fabric crafted to deliver a sock-like fit, allowing it to move and expand with the foot. It has perforation slits throughout the surface that keep the foot chamber aerated.

The mouth features a stretchable collar that allows the foot to get in or out comfortably. The lace-up structure provides a way for wearers to customize the fit at the midfoot.

A synthetic toe cap protects the toes from bumps and abrasion during workouts. At the back, the synthetic overlay forms an external heel counter that aims to keep the rearfoot steady while training.
