New Balance Fresh Foam Trailbuster History

Top-of-the-line technology and mad design skills are required to create the best possible footwear. New Balance, a century-old athletic footwear company, has proven time and again that they have both. For years, this popular Boston-based brand, has been known for their high-quality, technologically-packed yet inexpensive shoes, trail runners included.

The Trailbuster is just one among the many outdoor running shoes released by this brand. Built to endure the rough and rocky terrains, it was popular for its performance and durability. Despite its success, the brand’s pursuit of perfection did not cease.

In the year 2013, the brand introduced the Fresh Foam technology. Known for being lightweight and for its stable yet soft cushioning, this tech was applied to various kinds of performance shoes. This includes the Trailbuster.

Revamped with the famous Fresh Foam midsole as well as a molded foam collar, a lugged outsole and a modern construction, the Fresh Foam Trailbuster Re-Engineered debuted in October 2016. The brand, however, did not stop there.

On April 15, 2017, New Balance launched the Fresh Foam Trailbuster. Overhauled with a lightweight mesh and synthetic upper, this version boasts a streamlined silhouette. It, however, remains loyal to its roots. Displayed on previous Trailbuster models, the sun, mountain and water logo can also be seen on this model’s heel tab.
