New Balance Fresh Foam Paradox Suede History
The Fresh Foam Paradox comes from the popular Fresh Foam collection of New Balance. The collection is all about the Fresh Foam, a midsole technology which gives wearers a plush and responsive cushioning for activities such as running, walking, or training.
The Fresh Foam technology debuted at Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City in 2013 to a crowd of runners and outdoorsy fans. This technology utilized a 3-D printing-like process to dissect a traditional EVA compound into geometrical shapes that would create different zones and varying levels of compression and resistance under impact. The result is a more stable and neutral ride with a more springy and lighter material.
The Fresh Foam was first seen on the New Balance 980 which was released in early 2014. Due to the success of the 980, which received raves from running magazines and websites, successive shoes using the Fresh Foam tech were released such as the Boracay, Zante, and 1080. New Balance also released the tech across different sports, from trail hiking to mountaineering.
It just seemed apparent that lifestyle sneakers would soon follow the trend. And the 574 was proof of that, being the first casual kicks that received the Fresh Foam treatment. Other lifestyle sneakers were shortly added to the collection including the Fresh Foam Paradox Suede.
The Fresh Foam Paradox Suede is a boot with an upper made of ballistic mesh and suede. A waterproof membrane and lugged rubber outsole give the shoe all-weather durability and traction.
New Balance Fresh Foam Paradox Suede Style
The Fresh Foam Paradox Suede is a ruggedly trendy shoe that would look good whether worn in the city jungle or on the trail. Pair it up with shorts or track pants for a bit of sporty vibe. Skinny jeans, meanwhile, will add a hint of stylish flair.

This footwear by New Balance sports the Fresh Foam technology that gives it a smooth and responsive ride and which makes this shoe stand out from the rest. Waterproofing on the shoe keeps it dry in all weather conditions, and the insulation keeps the feet warm during the cold season. Apart from the technical specs, the shoe’s outdoorsy feel and rugged style further set it apart from other lifestyle shoes.
