  • The Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck is New Balance’s update to the Fresh Foam Cruz V1.  It is made with an even fresher nubuck leather midfoot saddle that serves as both the support in the midfoot area and an update to the shoe’s design.
  • The running shoe is also equipped with New Balance’s best cushioning technology, the Fresh Foam cushioning.  This offers flexibility and gives the shoe its responsiveness. The Fresh Foam cushioning technology also makes the user run freely without sacrificing a soft landing in every stride.
  • Additional enhancement on the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck is the heathered flat knit upper with cleatie construction.  The upper was designed to upgrade the comfort felt in every step and the deconstructed heel on the shoe makes the shoe easy to slip into for better functionality.

The New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck runs standard in size.  Its width comes in standard size D and standard size B for women. It is often reviewed as true to size and width but depending on the user’s shoe size, a few purchasers have noted that the sole is usually the right measurement but is contradicted by the upper which feels like one size down than their usual sizes.  For the best fit, trying on a pair in the local shoe store and reading about user’s reviews would greatly help.

The outsole for the Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck is made with durable blown rubber.  This material is an air-injected rubber, and it is often lighter and more flexible than traditional rubber.  The flexibility of the outsole allows it to move with the user’s foot with ease making it more comfortable.

The blown rubber outsole has also been enhanced with grooves that provide flexibility and reliable traction on urban surfaces.

The updated midsole of the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck now comes with nubuck leather panels across the midfoot area for all-day support as well as an added style feature.  It also features the award-winning Fresh Foam cushioning technology. This innovative cushioning detail is created from a single piece of foam that provides the softest and smoothest performance to guarantee a more natural ride.

A deconstructed heel foam is also incorporated in the shoe to deliver additional support and comfort.  It helps in making the shoe easy to slip into for better functionality.

The New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck is equipped with a knit upper.  This material makes the shoe lightweight and adaptable to the wearer’s foot movement.  The upper lining is also made with a breathable fabric lining that helps regulate the shoe’s coolness.

There is also a  nubuck leather middle saddle that offers midfoot support. It also enhances the overall midfoot fit of the shoe.

The Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck has a lace-up closure for a better adjustable and snug fit.

The cleatie construction also keeps the foot securely in the shoe and helps prevent rubbing.
