- The New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz LFC is a neutral running shoe that features the colorway of the Liverpool Soccer Club during the 2018 Premier League. A mostly gray façade is placed on top of a white midsole. Red accents grace the collar and the ‘N’ logo on the sides. The club’s liver bird crest sits on the instep, heightening team representation and recognition.
- A responsive underfoot experience is the goal of the Fresh Foam midsole. This full-length compound carries the foot throughout the running session, keeping it cushioned and enabled to take each step. A textured rubber exterior ensures surface grip and protection.
The LFC version of the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz was designed using the regular measurements, especially when it comes to length. But it may be helpful to know that the foot-dimensions of men were the basis of the construction. Widthwise, the option is D – Medium. The semi-curved shape of this running shoe mimics the natural curve of the human foot.
A rubber compound serves as the outsole unit of the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz LFC. This material is tasked with protecting the midsole from the abrasive nature of the roads. It also offers traction through its adhesive capacity.
A set of hexagonal patterns and non-prominent nodes heighten the surface grip. These textures also help in making the platform more flexible.
Underfoot cushioning is provided by the full-length Fresh Foam, which is made using a one-piece compound. Its job is to make sure that the foot is experiencing a sturdy yet responsive performance. It has small cuts on the sides that are meant to encourage compression and bounce-back.
The New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz LFC makes use of a breathable mesh for its upper unit. The fabric has many ventilation pores to accommodate the flow of air into the foot-chamber. Moreover, it flexes with the foot, thereby giving a freeing in-shoe experience.
A one-piece opening allows the wearer to experience a slip-on design. Such a configuration also reduces seams, thus averting pressure points and blisters.
The heel has padding on the exterior. The goal of this construction is to hold the back of the foot in place, preventing it from destabilizing during the run.
Semi-transparent saddles that have the New Balance ‘N’ logo work with flat shoelaces in providing a secure yet adjustable fit.
The Liverpool Soccer Club’s liver bird crest is stitched onto the instep. This circular logo is unique to the LFC version of the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz, and it celebrates the famous house of athletes.
