Updates to New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz

  • The Fresh Foam Cruz is one of those new creations that avails the Fresh Foam mid-sole technology. This full-length foam is soft, responsive and accommodating of the natural step of the runner. It also comes with an easy-to-slip-on style to give an improved and fresh feeling of comfort to the runners.
  • The upper is provided with a saddle to support and secure the runner's foot throughout the running session.

New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz size and fit

The New Balance, the Fresh Foam Cruz is available in a standard size of B and D for men and women respectively. It runs large, so it is advisable to get ½ size smaller in order to get a more relaxed fit.

Outsole

The outsole unit of the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz is made from Blown Rubber material. It offers durable protection against wear and tear. It also delivers responsible traction over the surfaces. But it has a soft and pliable nature, which basically allows it to offer additional cushioning for the foot.

Midsole

The midsole of the shoe employs NB's proprietary technology called Fresh Foam, which gives a very plush and fresh underfoot experience to the runners. The foam material has a more substantial presence in the heel section. It’s meant to accommodate the striking of the foot and not allow any discomfort to take root during the process.

Upper

The upper unit of the New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz makes use of a mesh material that is lightweight and capable of accommodating the natural flow of air into the foot-chamber.

A bootie design makes the upper more consistent in terms of construction and fit. It does away with a traditional shoe-tongue and utilizing a one-piece opening for the foot to slip into.

A saddle that’s made from synthetic material has also been placed in the midfoot section to provide the extra support. This saddle works with the lace-up closure to provide a better fit and to prevent the foot from going wobbling inside the shoe while running.
