Good to know

  • The New Balance 608 v1 is a training shoe created for both men and women. It is designed with support and comfort in mind, using a leather upper with a plush interior.
  • The ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam midsole attenuates shock. It also keeps the foot steady during explosive movements.
  • The heel section uses an additional layer of ABZORB compound. This cushioning technology enhances shock absorption at the rearfoot.

The New Balance 608 v1 is available for both male and female athletes. The men’s version comes in US sizes 6.5 to 15 and in a D – Medium width profile. As for the women’s variation, sizes are obtainable in US 5 to 11 and in a B – Medium width option. The leather upper with the plush interior delivers a snug and supportive fit.

The New Balance 608 v1 utilizes a non-marking rubber outsole. This material is durable and features a tread pattern that delivers traction in multiple directions. The flexibility of the outsole is enhanced by the flex grooves in the forefoot as well as by the segmented layout of the compound.

The midsole of the New Balance 608 v1 is made of the EVA foam which absorbs shock to keep the foot protected from impact. It is also flexible to support the natural heel-to-toe motion.

An extra layer of ABZORB is found in the heel. This technology is engineered using a superior blend of foam, compression set, and rubber to provide extra cushioning at the rearfoot.

The New Balance 608 v1 employs a leather upper with ventilation pores present at the vamp, the quarters, and the heel to ensure that the foot chamber is kept fresh. Leather overlays are used strategically throughout the top to amplify durability, support, and structure.  They sport a different color from the primary top material to give a stylish flair to the trainer.

A traditional lacing system is found at the midfoot. This element helps users adjust the fit to their liking.

The tongue and the collar are both lightly padded to keep the fit snug. The interior is lined with a smooth fabric that allows the foot to effortlessly slide in and out of the footwear.
