The New Balance 574 Re-Engineered is a face-lifted version of the well-loved classic 574. It delivers not only comfort, but lightness and breathability that allow it to be suitable for all-day wearing. Although the profile of the NB 574 Re-engineered was taken from a classic running shoe, this pair is better suited for the city streets.

Wearers have testified about the versatility and durability of this pair. Most of them shared that they practically wear their NB 574 Re-Engineered anywhere, from running errands to a casual dinner. Most wearers don this pair with their active wear, jeans, shorts or joggers and finish it off with tees and hoodies.

The New Balance 574 Re-Engineered carries a slimmer and sleeker profile of the classic 574. This notable shape has been in the market since 1988 making it one the most successful designs of New Balance. In fact, the NB 574 became the iconic face of New Balance because of its success in the market sales.

New Balance started as the New Balance Arch Company in Massachusetts in 1906. They focused on creating arch support and orthopedic shoes and continued delivering high-rate footwear throughout the years. Their philosophy “Endorsed by No One” made the New Balance stand out from their competitors.

New Balance started designing orthopedic shoes for baseball and track and field players in the1930s. More and more athletes go to their office to have their tailored fit orthopedic shoes. From only 5 employees and 30 pairs of shoes per day production, New Balance has widened the range of its sales. 70 years after its first release, New Balance reached the national stage.

Running and physical fitness became major pastimes during the early 70s. On October 1976, three New Balance models were included in the Runner’s World magazine best running shoe in the world. This catapulted the prominence of the New Balance in the market with non-stop requests from runners to have their own pair.

The classic New Balance 574 was released in 1988 as an advanced running shoe model. It has a very notable design that showcases the ENCAP cushioning for enhanced comfort and protection. 15 years later, which was 2003, the NB reissued the 574 carrying the same features. The 2003 version was offered in various colorways and buyers can even customize it to their choice of colors and texts.

Just recently, the New Balance has undergone major re-imagining to keep up with modern times. They released the New Balance 574 Re-Engineered displaying a mesh upper with ENCAP soles for all-day comfort, support, and protection. With its classic look, there is no doubt that this will be a weekend essential sneaker.
