New Balance 574 Lux History
In the early 1900s, the New Balance has started manufacturing orthopedic footwear. They continued creating shoes with good arch support all throughout the 20th century. Their unique philosophy “Endorsed by No One” made them stand out from the rest of the shoe companies. Instead of spending money on endorsers, New Balance allotted most of their time and money on research and development of technologies apt for the modern demands.
During the 70s, 3 shoes from the New Balance were able to enter the 10 best running sneakers in the renowned running magazine, Runner’s World. That event helped the New Balance become more known globally and received nonstop requests from various runners to have their own pair.
In 1988, the New Balance Classic 574 was released in the market. This shoe is an advanced running sneaker of NB that showcases a comfort-boosting ENCAP technology inserted in the midsole. The company reissued this 574 in 2003 as a lifestyle shoe, carrying the same silhouette and offered in countless colorways. The 2003 version of the 574 is also offered in the NB1 Customize in which the buyers have all the liberty to personalize his/her NB 574.
Another variation of the New Balance 574 was released in the market. The NB 574 Lux still carries the low-profile classic silhouette, with the ENCAP technology and the signature N motif on each side. The support in the right places and the comfortable ride make this sneaker suitable for all-day cruising.
New Balance 574 Lux Style
The New Balance 574 Lux showcases a clean and timeless design that could be paired with almost any look. The upper is made of smooth Nubuck leather and breathable mesh tongue with terry cloth inner lining. The well-loved 574 silhouette is still there along with the sick colorways. This pair is suitable for people who are style conscious but want to stay active. Most of the wearers shared that they sport this pair with their active wear, joggers, pants or shorts and tees or polos.
Fit & Sizing
The New Balance Lux features a Nubuck leather upper and a soft EVA midsole. The ENCAP technology is inserted in the midsole that acts as the shock-absorbing unit of the shoe. It has a mesh tongue and padded for superb comfort and support. It has the traditional lacing system that provides the wearers secure fit. This pair generally runs true to size and offered in various widths from 2E to D. Women can choose from sizes 5 to 12 US while men have sizes 5 to 18 US.
The classic profile of the New Balance Lux makes it very notable to many buyers. Added with lavish materials on the upper, this pair is such a neck-breaker. The very rich and soft Nubuck suede upper with contrasting color of the New Balance branding found in various areas add luxurious appeal to this pair. To complete the plush experience, New Balance lined the 574 Lux with soft terry cloth for a comfy and smoother feel.
