New Balance 530 Vazee History
The New Balance 530 Vazee came from the company’s 530 running shoe launched in the '90s. Recently, the silhouette is being reworked in various colorways. For the Vazee release, one of its color schemes came from its heritage shoe which includes black, white and purple.
The American footwear company launched a campaign in 2015 for the 530 Vazee. They hired New York street photographer Aaron Pegg for the photoshoots. He owns Underground NYC, a popular Instagram account that has thousands of followers. He took photos of the shoe with the grit-covered, city subways as its backdrop. This was the perfect place to shoot the 530 in the Vazee edition because subways are a focal point for shoes in the Big Apple. New Balance has a dedicated web page for the campaign with Pegg.
The New Balance 530 Vazee was released just in time for the New Year in 2016. It retailed for 100 USD.
