New Balance 530 Leather History

In the early 90s, New Balance started producing high-quality orthopedic footwear. The brand initially focused on delivering shoes only in Massachusetts, thus reaching few limited patrons.  The brand's unique philosophy “Endorsed by No One” made the company stand out as the brand would instead allot more time and money on researches and developments than on celebrity endorsers.

The New Balance first presented baseball and track and field footwear in the 1930s. After few years, NB was able to rule the running shoe market through their Trackster sneaker. This model is the first shoe that was presented in various widths, from AA to EEEE.

In 1992, the New Balance 530 was released as a running sneaker and seamlessly became one of the favorite silhouettes of the brand. Many runners and sneaker fans commended the classic and simple look of the NB 530. When this model came back in the market a few years ago, many enthusiasts love it even more as the new NB 530 stayed faithful to its familiar yet straightforward retro profile.

Recently, NB launched another iteration molded from the classic NB 530 model. The NB 530 Leather displays all the traditional facets upgraded with high-quality leather materials. This model kept the classic profile but injected with comfortable and durable features. It showcases fresh, cool colors making it a great stylish everyday wear especially for the winter season.

New Balance 530 Leather Style

The low-top New Balance 530 features retro running profile inserted with plush details from heel to toe for a modernized look. The leather upper marks refined and luxurious vibe so wearers can strut premium feel while staying sporty. Meanwhile, the perforated leather or mesh underlay in contrasted color further adds style for the streetwear.

This kick has excellent ventilation and lightness, making it apt for the city cruising all day. To wear this, some suggest pairing this with denim jeans, trousers, shorts, joggers, and skinnies paired with tees or button-down for a smart casual look. For a running-ready look, most don this with their activewear, such as quick-dry pants, oversized hoodies accessorized with a cap.

Fit & Sizing

The New Balance 530 Leather is available in men's sizing from 6 to 12 US in medium width. Women can enjoy this pair by purchasing a 1.5 down their regular size. Example, if their regular size is 7, she is advised to grab size 5.5 in men's sizing for a more comfortable and secure fit.

The NB 530 Leather has padded collar and tongue to provide all-day comfort and support. The brand used the conventional lace-up closure with flat laces for an individualized fit. Meanwhile, the ENCAP midsole technology delivers supportive feature and maximizes the durability.
