All the good things which were true for the previous versions of the 1500 applies to the V4 too. The firm, supportive, and low-profile midsole makes fast training runs a breeze. Its sub 9-ounce weight helps it disappear during runs, and the hard medial post is barely noticeable.

Updates to New Balance 1500 v4
- The New Balance 1500 v4 is a running shoe that’s designed to provide support for mild overpronators. It makes use of a stability post to support the arch and stabilize the stance of the wearer while taking each step. Additional midfoot support is afforded by the T-Beam, a TPU shank that acts as a foundation for the tendons and muscles of the foot-pad.
- The upper unit of this NB running footwear makes use of engineered mesh which is similar to woven cloth. It has breathing pores to accommodate air into the foot-chamber. A minimal overlay and underlay system helps in providing a secure fit that encompasses the vital sections of the foot.
