Native Miles 2.0 Liteknit History

Native was born out of founder Damian Van Zyll De Jong’s idea of wanting to make non-conventional shoes for people. Even without prior experience or knowledge in the footwear industry, he persisted and learned all about the manufacturing process for over a year in China. In just a couple of years, he was able to create his first collection in 2009.

Since then, Native has risen to become a highly recognizable name when it comes to comfortable and practical shoes. The brand's sneakers are primarily made out of EVA material, which provides a lightweight and supportive structure. Ever innovative, Native has also experimented with different materials and fabrics in search of new designs and creations.

Many models prove the brand’s forward-thinking aspirations, such as the Native Miles 2.0 Liteknit. This shoe is the slip-on sibling of the brand’s well-loved Miller sneaker. This time, it’s a model made with a unique knit upper, providing the same level of comfort while combining it with a lightweight and snug fit. It’s the perfect footwear for individuals who are always on-the-go for the next adventure, whether out in nature or the city.

Native Miles 2.0 Liteknit Style

Whether dressed up or down, the low-top Native Miles 2.0 Liteknit is sure to provide a smooth and sporty appeal. It has a minimalistic and laidback approach that's perfect for relaxing activities, whether hanging out or walking around. Shorts or jeans and a t-shirt will show off its casual flair. Meanwhile, it can also be dressed up for the office or events, worn with pants and shirts, dresses or skirts.

Fit & Sizing

The Native Miles 2.0 Liteknit is available in women’s sizes from 6-12, and in men’s sizes from 4-13 in medium width. It fits true to size. However, a couple of buyers have found the toe area to be narrow. Furthermore, no half sizes are available, which made things difficult for some wearers. Its knit upper promises a lightweight, breathable, and elastic fit. Lastly, it has a low collar that allows the ankle to move easily.

Notable Features

With its two-part EVA construction, the Native Miles 2.0 Liteknit offers a durable and lightweight construction. Its upper is made up of printed Liteknit denim, which is a 3D elasticized material. It’s also minimally styled, giving the shoe a simple appeal. The Native logo is found on the upper and heel tab.
