Updates to Mizuno Wave Aero 14

  • The Mizuno Wave Aero 14 does not have so much update. The major enhancement was done in its midsole. It features the new midsole technology that aids pronation and maintains a stable foot movement for a smoother ride. It was also improved to deliver maximum shock absorption and added durability.

Mizuno Wave Aero 14 size and fit

The Aero 14 has a true to size running shoe length. The heel, midfoot and forefoot are of standard measurements, accommodating those with regular foot shapes and measurements. Mizuno is offering the shoe under the standard widths of D for the men’s and B for the women’s.

Outsole

The outsole unit features the Mizuno X10 outsole technology. It delivers a reliable traction and durability. The carbon rubber is strategically added to increase longevity especially on high-wear areas. It also provides durable traction while running on the road or wet surfaces.

Midsole

The midsole uses the new SmoothRide technology that lessens acceleration and deceleration of the foot for a smoother heel-to-toe transition. This works hand-in-hand with the Mizuno U4ic technology that provides durability, maximum shock absorption and resilient ride.

Upper

The 14th version of the Mizuno Wave Aero features the breathable Airmesh that delivers maximum comfort by keeping the foot cool and dry. It matches with the brand’s Dynamotion Fit technology that works well with the foot through every stride for a comfortable fit while in motion.
