Good to know

The Merrell Wilderness AC+ is available in men's sizing from 7 to 13 US in medium width. Ladies are advised to grab a 1.5 size down their regular shoe size for a more secure fit. Example, if a woman's size is 7, she must purchase 5.5 in men's sizing for a more secure fit.

The brand used a lace-up closure with the metal lacing hardware for more durability while providing a personalized fit. This shoe is lined with breathable mesh added with textile footbed for added comfort. Meanwhile, the bellows tongue avoids the debris from coming in the footwear; thus keeping the feet from cuts and abrasions.

The high-top Merrell Wilderness AC+ features high-quality materials with excellent engineering to produce a fashionable footwear. Its upper is made of full grain leather rested atop a dual-toned, thick midsole for the added style. While many find this kick too rugged for the city pavements, many still love styling this with their casual ensemble. Most were seen sporting this kick with denim jeans or skinnies. Meanwhile, for an authentic hiking-ready look, some pair this with cargo pants or shorts matched up with unbuttoned-polo over a plain t-shirt.

The thick rubber sole in dual-tone of the Merrell Wilderness AC+ gives a noteworthy feature. This element is designed to withstand any weather and temperature situation and is made of the Vibram TC5 technology for the unparalleled tractions.

The Merell Company core value is to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors. They launched their high-quality cleats for hiking with utmost comfort, durability, design, and versatility in 1983.

After ten years in the market, Merell introduced lightweight designs specifically for trail running and called it the Jungle Runner. However, this model was not able to climb the ladder up in the footwear market which resorted the company to redesign it. They re-engineered the Jungle Runner and launched the Jungle Moc which featured more aggressive running outsole with casual slip-on suede upper. This became an instant hit and sold 3.5 million pairs in 2002.

The Jungle Moc opened the door for the Merrell into the lightweight and fashionable sneakers domain. Since then, the company has been nonstop in offering a broad range of iterations that are more casual but with hints of outdoor vibe.

The Merrell Wilderness AC+ is the take of Merrell on trail kick that was turned into fashionable casual footwear. This pair has been inserted with premium materials and engineered with superb details for durability and comfort.
