Good to know

The Merrell Jungle Lace AC+ is a low-top sneaker that features a heel pull tab for easy wearing and a traditional lace closure for a secure and lockdown fit. The overall hold and support are excellent. In-shoe comfort is provided by the cushioned footbed, padded collar, and tongue.

Men’s sizes are available from 7 to 15 including half sizes up to 13 while women’s sizes range from 5 to 11.5. Both sizes are in Medium width. The fit is true to size for the majority of reviewers.

Dubbed as the ultimate low-maintenance” low-top shoe, the Merrell Jungle Lace AC+ strut in a premium pig suede upper that gives out a rugged and relaxed look suited for the outdoors. The rounded laces add an even more outdoorsy vibe to the shoe’s overall style. Men and women alike can sport this on a day out, for work, or on a long walk.

Boasting a highly durable and sturdy pig suede upper material, the Merrell Jungle Lace AC+ is a definition of comfortable low-top shoe fit for the everyday adventures. Those familiar with Merrell shoes would notice its similarities with the Merrell Jungle Moc, since it is basically the lace-up version of the Jungle Moc. Like the original silhouette, this variation features an Air Cushion+ midsole but with strategically positioned air pockets and prominent lugs for optimum comfort.

For almost four decades, the Merrell shoe brand has been producing high-quality shoes fit for the outdoor enthusiasts. Its humble beginnings started with marketing high-quality custom hiking cleats. But as the footwear industry market evolves, Merrell had to expand as well and widen its product range to reach a broader audience.

In 1998, Merrell released a shoe model that took a big part in their history the Merrell Jungle Moc. It was the shoe that introduced the brand’s After-Sport category of casual shoes. It has a slip-on, low-top construction equipped with the brand’s top-of-the-line technologies making it one of Merrell’s popular shoe models that continues to sell up to this day.

The popularity of the Jungle Moc drives the brand to release iterations of its silhouette. One of which is the Merrell Jungle Lace AC+, a lace-up version that shadows the features of the original such as the low-top construction, heel tab, suede upper, rubber outsole with deep lugs, and EVA footbed.

  • Like its predecessor the Merrell Jungle Moc, this iteration also features a breathable mesh lining for additional in-shoe comfort and a heel pull tab for easy wearing.
  • The FIT.ECO blended EVA contoured footbed has odor control to keep the feet fresh all day long. It is also removable similar to that in the Jungle Moc.
  • The Merrell Air Cushion+ gives heel to toe comfort.
  • The Merrell branding is embossed just below the eyelets on the outer side of the shoe.
