Merrell Freewheel Chukka History
In over three decades ago, Randy Merrell became a famous and go-to shoemaker for outdoor enthusiasts. His penchant for creating and providing premium quality handcrafted boots specially built for harsh terrains made him famous. Randy's dedication to producing high-quality performance-based shoes earned him the recognition of "best hiking boots" by the Backpacker Magazine.
Years later, the company decided to widen its inventory and expand into other market groups without straying too far away from their core value. Since then Merrell has been creating more lifestyle-based footwear that efficiently marries their outdoor-inspired designs and performance-based features.
One of the brand's latest releases of the label is the Merrell Freewheel Chukka. This shoe is manufactured primarily for casual city cycling and commutes. It features a stylish design and necessary elements for a decent cycling shoe. It is available in a few colorways.
