Merrell Freewheel Bolt Lace History

For almost four decades of spontaneous customer support, Merrell had proven to be an outstanding company that develops technology focusing on the enhancement of human capabilities and lifestyle. Along with this line of vision is the manufacturing of shoes for outdoor recreational activities, involving biking.

Realizing that the mid-foot is the necessary part of an efficient bike stride, the company developed the Merrell CycleTread™ technology which provides a stable foot pedal power without disregarding flexibility in the forefoot.

Several models were equipped with this Merrell’s technology including the Merrell Roust Fury, Merrell Roust Frenzy, and the Merrell Freewheel Bolt Lace.

Merrell Freewheel Bolt Lace Style

Without breaking away from the usual comfort given by a “Dad shoe” while administering an elegant design, the Merrell Freewheel Bolt Lace demonstrated that a shoe could have both. With its standard pattern of earth tone colorways and some notable exceptions on the side note, the sneaker can be worn when casual clothing is required. Can be easily mistaken for an office shoe, it can also be partnered with either pants, shorts or jeans for the go.

Fit & Sizing
