- The Merrell Fluxion is a versatile running shoe that is created for running in light trails. This vegan-friendly shoe is crafted with advanced technologies that aim to deliver a comfortable and efficient running experience.

- This lightweight running shoe features a mesh upper, which offers a combination of protection and breathable comfort. It keeps the foot dry and cool throughout the running session.

- To provide a stable and responsive ride, this shoe utilizes the compression-molded EVA midsole. This soft midsole material offers excellent comfort and underfoot protection.

The Merrell Fluxion is constructed with a standard running shoe length. Consumers are welcome to get a pair in their usual sizing expectations. However, it is highly recommended to check on the shoe first before making any purchase decisions to ensure a pleasant in-shoe feel. Consumers may also check the general feedback of users about sizing.

Several components affect the fit of this neutral running shoe. This includes the padded tongue and traditional lace closure that aim to provide a snug and customized in-shoe feel. Another element is the removable footbed that allows the user to adjust the comfort level of the shoe.

Incorporated into the outsole unit of the Merrell Fluxion is a durable material called the M Select™ Grip. This outsole material is highly slip-resistant. It contributes excellent traction on both wet and dry ground. It also provides excellent protection against abrasive elements.

Completing the outsole’s design is the highly angled lug pattern, which channels excess water away from the underfoot.

The Merrell Fluxion utilizes the compression-molded ethylene vinyl acetate (CMEVA) foam. This cushioning material absorbs landing impact to provide a more responsive and stable ride.

An ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) removable footbed is also added in this trail running shoe to provide additional comfort and protection. It also permits the runner to adjust the shoe’s cushioning level.

Just like the Merrell Trail Glove 5, the Merrell Fluxion also uses vegan-friendly materials. The upper unit of the shoe is a combination of TPU and mesh fabric. This combination enables the shoe to provide a supportive and breathable coverage. The mesh fabric allows for continuous airflow, keeping the foot dry and cool during the whole running session.

Integrated into the shoe is the Hyperlock™ TPU film heel counter for a stable ride. This element keeps the heel in place and prevents it from sliding up and down while walking or running.

This Merrell trail running shoe also features a moderately padded tongue and heel collar for a more comfortable in-shoe feel. These components also help prevent blisters and skin irritation.

The traditional lacing system is used in the shoe for security. The shoelaces allow the user to easily adjust the tightness and looseness around the shoe.

The Merrell Fluxion also has a waterproof version, the Merrell Fluxion GTX. It utilizes the Gore-Tex membrane that prevents the water from getting inside the shoe without sacrificing breathability. The waterproof version features the same midsole and outsole technologies that are used in the Merrell Fluxion.
