We spent 5.8 hours reading reviews from experts and users. In summary, this is what sneaker fanatics think:

10 reasons to buy

  • Most users like its casual style and trendy colors that are always fashionable and mix well with various types of clothing such as denim or khakis.
  • Many reviewers praised the Merrell Duskair Lace for being comfortable and ideal for city walks.
  • Several wearers love them for being lightweight and well suited for wearing after getting feet tired after a hike or sports.
  • Some buyers claimed the colors of the canvas upper made their footwear stand out in casual gatherings.
  • Customers liked the airy feel of the shoe particularly in the toe box as it gives an added comfort and breathability to the feet.
  • A good number of reviews recommend this as a comfortable after sports shoe that is a great fit after a long day of walking or hiking.
  • Quite a lot of customers enjoyed wearing the sneakers even without socks as they never encountered any heel slip while wearing these kicks.
  • A good deal of reviewers like the flexibility of the sole and padded footbed suited for various types of movement.
  • Customers are keen on wearing them because of the M Select outsole that provides a steady stride for different types of terrain.
  • The Merrell Duskair Lace has an affordable price of $70 but many online retailer websites including manufacturer’s site already have them on sale by as much as 40% off.

5 reasons not to buy

  • Some customers wanted a softer air cushioning and arch support for their shoes as they commented these were a tad too firm for their sore feet.
  • A few critics noted the shoes ran a bit larger than actual size.
  • A couple of commenters claimed the shoe would have been perfect if not for the uncomfortable insole, a portion of the inside stitching, and limited arch support.
  • A handful of negative comments in the sneaker’s in-step as consumers finds them too tight.
  • Some commenters prefer the Merrell Duskair Moc as it is less complicated slip-on without worrying about lacing up the shoe.

Bottom line

Merrell Duskair Lace is the ultimate comfort shoes for a hard day’s hike or sports. The lightweight sneakers are breathable giving that needed ventilation for tired feet. It is also a great buy due to its affordable pricing that does not compromise casual style and trendy designs.

This is for those consumers looking for something lightweight and comfortable. While not a performance shoe, the sneakers are flexible enough for short city walks on paved streets and other types of terrain. However, reviewers remarked it could be uncomfortable on extended wear because of its firm sole and limited arch support which might get users wanting for that extra layer of cushioning and arch support in the insole.
